Buhari has ordered army and police to rescue abducted Katsina students.
News Rain Nigeria reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has on Saturday as a matter of urgency ordered for reinforcement of security of all schools in Katsina.
The President reinforcement order was said to be in line with the safe schools policy of his administration.
President Buhari who also condemned the bandits attack on the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara Katsina State, charged both the Nigerian Army and the Police to go after the attackers to ensure safety of the students of affected school.

Buhari maintained that the security chiefs should make sure that non of the students of the school get missing or harmed, maintaining that the affected school authorities should carry out an audit of the population of the students following shootings in and around the school that sent hundreds of them fleeing and scrambling over perimeter walls.
During the incident, parents of the students were seen rushing to the school, to remove their children and wards, urging them to also notify the school and police authorities in order to have a full account of the school population.
President Muhammadu Buhari in a recent briefing through Governor Aminu Bello Masari over the development, said: “I strongly condemn the cowardly bandits’ attack on innocent children at the Science School, Kankara.
”Our prayers are with the families of the students, the school authorities and the injured,” Buhari said while pledging to continue to support the police and military struggle against terrorists and bandits.
Governor Aminu Bello Masari, with whom he has been in touch, and the Army Chief of Staff, General Tukur Buratai, the military, supported by air power has located the bandits’ enclave at Zango/Paula forest in Kankara and there have been exchange of fire in an ongoing operation.
Police said so far, there has not been reported any student casualty.
