The information reaching us is that the Npower management will soon pay the Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiaries their 3-month backlog payment. At the same time, the federal government has resumed the payment of N20,000 cash grants social investment programme to assist vulnerable groups which were flagged off in Anambra State on Tuesday 17th of January 2023.
The exercise was performed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, who was represented by a deputy director in the Ministry, Mr. Charles Anaelo.
The resumption of payment for these components of NSIP programme is a sign that the Npower beneficiaries will soon get their backlog payment.
