Primeboy: Police Declare MohBad’s Childhood Friend Wanted Over Singer’s Death, Place N1m Bounty On Him
Lagos State Police Command has declared a Nigerian singer, Owodunni Ibrahim aka Primeboy, wanted in connection with the investigation of Mohbad’s death.
Primeboy, the childhood friend of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was fingered in the death of the singer last month.
In a statement via X on Wednesday, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said Primeboy was declared wanted over failure to honour the command’s invitation.
The Police said a one million Naira bounty had been placed on the suspect, and anyone with information about his whereabouts should report to the nearest station.

The statement reads, “Following his failure to honour police invitation successfully sent to him since the commencement of investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command hereby declares wanted Owodunni Ibrahim aka Primeboy.
“Ibrahim is approximately 1.64 m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks, and Yoruba by tribe. His last known address is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu.
“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727. The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, hereby offers a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest.”
Mohbad died on 12th September at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances.
In a video posted by an Instagram blogger Temilola Sobola on 14th September, Primeboy debunked allegations that suggested he killed his friend.
He claimed he didn’t know what happened to the deceased and was still shocked by his sudden death.
