Her last empowerment outreach which took place on Saturday, December 16, 2023, witnessed her touching the lives of over 100 widows and women at St. Christopher’s Military Church, Ikeja Cantonment.

Addressing the women who had gathered in their numbers, Barr. (Mrs.) Akpaumontia welcomed them with words of advice, urging them not to see the death of their husbands as a setback, but they should live each day with the Word of God so that they can take care of the children their husbands left behind.

Highlights of the event were the free medical treatments for the widows and their families, free optical check-ups by qualified Doctors, and free eyeglasses.

Also, Christmas gifts ranging from rice, beans, pepper, portions of meat, and other goodies were shared to everyone present at the event.

Children were not left out, as vitamins were given to them for their well-being

Praises were showered on Mrs. Akpaumontia by the beneficiaries, one of them, Mrs. Alice Nathaniel said Mrs. Akpaumontia has compassion for the women, especially the widows.

Mrs. Nathaniel continued that each year she takes part as a beneficiary, she always goes home with a smile on her face because of the free medical treatments and the gift items she benefits from. She prayed to God to continue to bless Mrs. Akpaumontia and her family.
