Children’s Day 2026

Smart Innovation and Creativity has celebrated Children’s Day 2026.

NewsRain Nigeria reports that Smart Innovation and Creativity recently joined the nation in celebrating National Children’s Day.

This year’s celebration holds a uniquely profound significance, as it coincides with a holy day in Islam, beautifully underscoring just how precious and cherished children are in the eyes of God.

On behalf of Smart Innovation and Creativity, the convener, Omolola Olamijulo, extends her warmest and most heartfelt wishes to all children for a beautiful, joyful, and memorable celebration.

As this year’s Children’s Day aligns with a sacred season of spiritual reflection and gratitude, Omolola Olamijulo, Smart, and the entire Smart Innovation team send special greetings to the community: “We wish every Muslim child, brother, sister, and parent a wonderful and blessed celebration. Barka da Sallah. May this holy season bring peace, unity, and immense joy to your homes.

Extending Love to Every Child
In the spirit of this dual celebration, Omolola Olamijulo Smart is urging parents, guardians, and caregivers to look beyond their immediate circles and practice radical empathy. She advises the public to actively seek out and support children in orphanages, as well as physically challenged and differently-abled children within their communities.

”Children are a divine trust,” Omolola Smart stated. “True celebration lies in ensuring that no child feels forgotten. We call on everyone today to extend a hand of unconditional love, resources, and warmth to those who need it most, ensuring our differently-abled and vulnerable children feel deeply valued and included.

For the past 13 years, Smart Innovation and Creativity has stood at the forefront of advocacy and joy for all children, seamlessly bridging the gap between able-bodied and differently-abled youth.

The organization continues to drive its mission through two flagship annual pillars: May 27th Children’s Day Events: Providing inclusive spaces for children of all backgrounds to play, learn, and express their creativity.

December Charity Funfairs: A year-end staple dedicated to raising spirits, fostering community integration, and distributing critical support to underserved children.

Smart Innovation and Creativity remains fiercely committed to using innovation, art, and community outreach to build a world where every single child, regardless of ability or circumstance, is given the platform to shine.
