NPower: Reason Why You Should Not Edit Your State & Local Government Area
News Rain Nigeria gathered that some NPower Batch C applicants have been jumping into their NPower NASIMS portal to quickly edit their state and local government area, which is a very risky thing to do by the NPower Batch C applicants.
If an NPower Batch C applicant have relocated to another state or local government area and the N-Power Batch C applicant is thinking of editing the N-Power NASIMS portal to the current state or local government area in which the N-Power Batch C applicant resides, to reflect on his or her N-Power Nasims portal profile, the N-Power Batch C applicant should not do that if the N-Power Batch C applicant has been shortlisted.
FG Reveals Official Date for NPower Physical Verification 2021
News Rain Nigeria reports that the FG has directed that those who applied for the Npower Batch ‘C’ program and have successfully written the online test and followed all procedures should get ready for Npower physical verification 2021.
Official Date for NPower Physical Verification 2021 is scheduled to commence on the 25th June 2021 till 30th of June 2021.
Shortlisted applicants on the pre-selection list will have to undergo a physical verification exercise which will be conducted nationwide.

Fact Check: Has Deployment of shortlisted N-Power Batch C beneficiaries commenced?
News Rain Nigeria gathered that a blog is claiming that authorities in Nigeria ‘have started posting and deployment of shortlisted N-Power Batch C candidates’.
The poster, on a Facebook group that has over 167, 000 members, asked social media users to ‘please’ help him share.
Meanwhile, Deployment of shortlisted N-Power Batch C beneficiaries has not commenced.
Npower Batch C Stream 1 & 2 Updates
The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting and commencement date
The Federal government has announced June 15, 2021, as the date for Batch C Stream 2 shortlisting date, while selection continues till June 21, 2021.
The Batch C physical verification date will commence on June 25, 2021, and last till 30 June 30.
Important: Candidates that scaled through the test to the pre-selection list will undergo physical verification, which will be conducted nationwide.
NPower Batch C Stream 2 Verification Requirements:
The following are required for the physical verification:
- Educational qualification (O’level, Degree, HND)
- Age(Birth Certificate/Age Declaration/Affidavit)
- BVN(Bank Verification Number)
- Employment status
- NYSC certificate
- Local Govt Identification
- Valid Identity Card (Int’l Passport, Voters Card, NIN).
Note: The Batch C Stream 2 biometric fingerprint capturing will be done on NASIMS portal (nasims.gov.ng).
N-Power Batch C: Don’t Be Misled, Physical Verification Has Not Started
Physical verification in respect of N-Power Batch C, which involves the presentation of academic certificates for checks at a venue in one’s state of residence, is yet to kick-off.
Things you need to do to Guarantee Your Final Selection (Deployment)
- Login to NASIM portal
- click verification tab
- click capture your finger
- install enrollment app
- re-enter credentials and click proceed
- click begin enrolment
- submit and save the enrolment
- end and exit app
These categories of Npower Batch C applicants may never scale through the Npower deployment stage which is the final selection stage;
- Employees under government or private sector
- Beneficiaries of other government’s schemes like NYSC, NEXIT, NYIF, SPW, etc.
- Applicants who did not follow
recruitment instructions. - Applicants who do not have the N-power required documents.
- Exited Npower Volunteers.
- Applicants above 35 years.
NPower Update: 500,000 Candidates Qualifies for Npower Final Selection
News Rain Nigeria reports that 500,000 Candidates have Qualified for Final Selection.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development said a total of 1.8 million Party C applicants, less than 550,000, had not been selected for the final round of NPower.
Hajia Sadia Omar Farooq also said that on March 11. The Ministry developed a National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) for Party C applicants and asked them to update their profile and then take an online test through the portal.
He added that by 2021. In the third week of May, more than 1.8 million people completed their tasks and took the mandatory online test.
In addition, after a successful selection, 550,000 candidates were included in the final NPower selection, involving 500,000 nationwide and who will be the first chapter of the Batch C program.
He also said that, as the president had pointed out, a second group of 500,000 of all 1,000,000 NPower beneficiaries would be formed.
Along with the work, the selected person is contacted via the e-mails specified by them. Postal addresses are also invited to log in to the portal and submit their biometrics for final selection.
