Chelsea has defeated West Ham.

 

 

NewsRain Nigeria reports that Chelsea secured a dramatic 3–2 victory over West Ham United at Stamford Bridge during a Premier League clash on Saturday.

 

The Blues were second best in the first half and trailed after goals from Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville.

Bowen opened the scoring in the seventh minute, his curling cross deceiving goalkeeper Robert Sánchez, before Summerville doubled West Ham’s lead in the 36th minute with a fine finish from close range.

 

Chelsea showed renewed intensity after the break following several substitutions. Joao Pedro pulled one back with a close-range header before Marc Cucurella equalised in the 70th minute, diving to head home after the ball dropped kindly inside the six-yard box.

 

The comeback was completed deep into stoppage time when Joao Pedro squared the ball for Fernández, who fired past Alphonse Areola to spark wild celebrations among the home supporters.

 

West Ham’s frustrations spilled over late on as defender Jean-Clair Todibo was sent off for violent conduct.

 

The victory lifts Chelsea to fourth place in the Premier League and highlights the team’s resilience as they continue their strong run of form under Liam Rosenior.
