NewsRain Nigeria reports that Information gathering and disseminating during the election period indeed played a pivotal role in keeping the people abreast with reports, particularly as it concerns updates across various locations where the election is going on.

However, distorting vital information that could derail the entire process has been described by many as a setback that could undermine the legitimacy of the election.

This is what prominent communication expert, Season Journalist, along with key stakeholders, will be talking about during the 7th edition of Timeline Awareness Initiative Lecture and Awards in Lagos.
