Marketing Edge’s Aniette Udoh and Amina Omoike are set to speak at Event Diary Lifestyle’s 3rd IWD yung girls in school initiative.
NewsRain Nigeria reports that Event Diary Lifestyle has unveiled the speakers and programme highlights for the third edition of the International Women’s Day – Young Girls in School Initiative, scheduled to hold on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Hiana Event Hall, Ojodu Abiodun, Ogun State.
The initiative, steadily growing since its inception, is the flagship programme of Event Diary Lifestyle, created to inspire, mentor, and prepare young girls for a confident and purpose-driven future.

This year’s event aligns with the global spirit of International Women’s Day 2026 and reflects the theme “Give to Gain.” The programme will be hosted under “Skill in Her Hands, Confidence in Her Heart,” focusing on equipping young girls with practical knowledge, mentorship, and creative skills to shape their personal development and leadership journey.
Delivering the Keynote Address is Anietie Udoh, Divisional Director Marketing, Marketing Edge Publications Ltd, who will speak on “Empowering the Girl Child for Leadership and Lifelong Impact.”
His session will focus on inspiring students to build confidence, embrace leadership opportunities, and prepare themselves for future success.
Also speaking at the event is Amina Omoike, Group Head, Media Services at MediaCraft, who will engage the students in discovering their identity and embracing their talents and abilities as pathways to personal growth and achievement.
A key highlight of the programme will be a hands-on creative workshop where participating students will learn the art of hair fascinator making.
The session will be facilitated by Adejoke Ogunbona, CEO, Unique World of Accessories, who will guide the girls through the creative process while introducing them to entrepreneurial opportunities within the craft and fashion industry.
The event is expected to host between 150 and 200 secondary school girls drawn from invited schools across Lagos and Ogun States.
Speaking on the upcoming programme, Princess Adeola Shittu, Founder of Event Diary Lifestyle, emphasized the importance of mentorship and early skills development in shaping the future of young girls.
“Our goal is to inspire young girls to believe in themselves, discover their potential, and develop skills that will prepare them for leadership and lifelong impact,” she said.
