The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development formally ended the training of 3,300 Npower non-graduate beneficiaries in Hardware, Software, Animation, script writing, and other life skills under the N-Knowledge programme a few weeks ago. N-Power Health Beneficiaries Got N-power MGT Attention

N-Power Health is a category of the Npower programme that targets recent graduates who have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess an exemption certificate. These graduates must also have a degree or diploma in a health-related field to qualify for the programme. The programme aims to bridge the critical shortage of healthcare workers in Nigeria, particularly in rural areas, by offering young graduates the opportunity to work as volunteer health assistants in various primary healthcare centers throughout the country.

Participants in the N-Power Health programme are trained and equipped with the necessary skills and tools to provide basic healthcare services, including health education, community outreach, and health promotion activities. They also assist healthcare professionals in delivering essential healthcare services to their communities. Additionally, participants are provided with a monthly stipend and other incentives to support their work as volunteer health assistants.

The N-Power Health programme runs for one year, after which participants are expected to transition into other employment opportunities or start their own businesses. The programme aims to improve the health outcomes of vulnerable populations, such as pregnant women, children under the age of five, and individuals with disabilities.

Npower is actively seeking feedback from its N-Health beneficiaries regarding their experiences at their Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) through various social media communication channels. By soliciting feedback from its N-Health beneficiaries, Npower can improve the programme’s effectiveness and ensure that the beneficiaries’ experiences are positive. This approach also demonstrates Npower’s commitment to providing quality services to the Nigerian population and achieving its goal of improving the welfare and livelihoods of vulnerable groups.
