A video of the moment Governor Makinde refuses to kiss his wife at a public event has emerged.

NewsRain Nigeria reports that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has sparked a reaction with his wife, Tamunominni Makinde, at a public event.

The governor and his wife were at the dinner and award night organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the state held on Wednesday, February 5, when the compere of the event asked the wife to plant a kiss on the governor in full glare of all those attending the event.

While seated on his chair, Mrs Makinde bent over to kiss him, but the governor immediately removed his face.

Reacting to the post, some netizens frowned at Makinde’s action, while others claimed that the Governor was engrossed with his phone and unaware.
