NewsRain Nigeria reports that popular actor, Alex Ekubo, is dead.

This was made known by filmmaker Sam Olatunji.

 

According to reports, he died at a hospital in Lagos after battling cancer.

The late actor was one of the prominent figures in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, known for his film roles, modelling career, and public influence.

Recall that before now, Alex has been absent from social media, which had sparked concern among fans.

 

His last Instagram post was made on December 30, 2024.

While he was alive, Alexx Ekubo had a relationship with Fancy Acholonu; however, the relationship hit a rough patch, and the reason behind it is not disclosed publicly.
