All Progressive Congress has accused PDP of sponsoring ENDSARS protests.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the All Progressive Congress (APC), had accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), of sponsoring the ongoing nationwide ENDSARS protests.
APC through a statement that was released to the effect on Wednesday, today, 21th, October 2020, noted that the main opposition party in the Country is responsible for the ongoing protests that are rocking the nation.

The All Progressive Congress also noted that the Peoples Democratic Party are sponsoring the protests in the name of Politics.
APC through a press statement that was issued and signed by its Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Yekini Nabena noted that its claim was inline following the alleged assertion by one Kufre Carter who alleged that Governor Udom Emmanuel gave the protesters about N4million to share.
“It is on record that one of the leaders of #EndSARS protest in Akwa Ibom State three days ago publicly admitted that the state governor, Udom Emmanuel, gave N4 million for onward sharing to the protesting youth in Uyo, the state capital.
“Since the protest started, the PDP elements have taken over the social media making various unguarded assertions thereby fueling the protest.
“The party will rather place on record how PDP and its leaders are directly and indirectly sponsoring the protest and playing politics with the development.
Nabena through the statement also said, that “Kufre Carter, one of the organizers of the protest reportedly said he got a call from the governor’s aide on youth matters whom he said told him that the governor gave N4 million to be shared to the protesters”.
APC however used the medium to call on the protesters to embrace peace by saying that “We, however, repeat our appeal to the protesting youths to give dialogue and peace a chance while ignoring insensitive fueling by the PDP”.
The APC spokesperson said, its leadership has always known the hidden agenda of the protesters, noted that it is only in an atmosphere of peace that individuals will realize his ambition.
“Leaders (including PDP leaders) should know that it is only when the country exists in peace that one can achieve their goals, you cannot be a leader through chaos, it will not be well. Nabena stated.
