COVID-19: Lagos Orders Grade 1 To 12 Civil Servants Back To Work

Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the resumption of all Public Servants on Grade Levels 1 -12 with effect from Monday, November 2, 2020.

News Rain Nigeria gathered in a statement issued by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola that the directive is in accordance with the recommendations of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 and advisory of the State Ministry of Health.

It will be recalled that since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown which was one of the measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, Grade Levels 1 to 12 civil servants in the state have been asked to stay or work from home.

This new development, therefore, indicates the return of full activities in the Lagos State civil service.
