Why Oppositions Are Joining Side Of Taraba Governor-Elect, Agbu Kefas- Oluwatosin Alex

The Governor-elect of Taraba state, Agbu Kefas has hit the ground running few days after he was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

One of the promises of His Excellency, Agbu Kefas is to run an all-inclusive government that will not discriminate or segregate any of the sectors in Taraba state. He mentioned that his government will carry everyone along as no one would be regarded or treated like an opposition.

In politics, it is a known fact that running an all-inclusive government is almost impossible but Agbu Kefas has proven that he is not the usual politician but a special breed. He extended an olive branch to every candidate that lost in the election when he made his first statement after victory. He called on them to work with him in order to make Taraba better than it is.

Why Oppositions Are Joining Side Of Taraba Governor-Elect, Agbu Kefas- Oluwatosin Alex

Shortly after his message, the candidate of the APC, Sen Emmanuel Bwacha announced that he had called his Excellency, Agbu Kefas to congratulate him on his victory; these were opposing candidates but the wisdom in the victory message of the governor-elect made him win his opposition to his side.

Apart from the congratulatory message received from the APC candidate, the Labour Party governorship candidate, Sen. Joel Danlami Ikenya visited Agbu Kefas in his residence yesterday to also congratulate him.

Before now, other minor political parties and their candidates have congratulated Agbu Kefas and pledged their support to his administration. Some of them decamped to his side before the election held on Saturday, 18th Of March, 2023.

No doubt, Agbu Kefas has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is a special breed among conventional politicians. Instead of inciting politics of bitterness considering some of the things he went through in the hands of oppositions, he chose the path of forgiveness for the sake of Taraba. Indeed, Agbu Kefas is the typical definition of a leader.
