Popular Nollywood stars, John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu, and Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, also known as Sisi Quadri are two Nollywood’s iconic figures.

  • He went to school in Ore, Ondo State, for both his primary and secondary education. He also went to Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
  • Before he became an actor, Quadri was trained fashion designer.
  • His father also registered him in Arabic school because he wanted him to become a popular Muslim cleric.
  • He was introduced to lecturer and mentor, Toyin Olaiya (Alaga council) who brought him into acting.
  • He started acting in 2002 in a movie called ‘Koto Aye,’ directed by the late Alhaji Ajileye.
