Video clip of confessions by the notorious gun-running bandit in the North Western Nigeria, Musa Kamarawa who was arrested and detained by security agencies during the administration of former Zamfara Gov Bello Matawalle, now Minister of State for Defence are in circulation on social media platforms.

In the video clips, the gun-running bandit was being interrogated by security when he confessed to his crimes, leading to his arrest and imprisonment by the administration of former Zamfara Gov Bello Matawalle, but now released by the incumbent Gov Dauda Lawal, revealed how he related to bandits kingpins and operated a network of trans-border gun-running business.

Musa Kamarawa is now being used by Dauda Lawal to smear the minister of state defence for political reasons.

Investigations into the circumstances leading to the production and release of two viral videos of a bandits kingpin Bello Turji linking the former governor with banditry in North Eastern Nigeria revealed that Musa Kamarawa’s brother Aminu video recorded Turji and was edited by a social media handler of Gov Dauda Lawal and shared to public.
