BREAKING: Akeredolu Declared Winner of Ondo Governorship Election

INEC has declared Rotimi Akeredolu as the winner of Ondo State guber poll.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), has on Sunday declared the incumbent Governor of Ondo State, who is also the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu at the Saturday gubernatorial Poll winner of the election.

Akeredolu Winner of Ondo Governorship Election

Akeredolu was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s returning officer, Prof Abel Idowu Olayinka after polling 292,830 to beat his closest rival, Eyitayo Jegede of the PDP who polled 195,791, while ZLP candidate and Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Ajayi Agboola came third with 69,127 votes.
According to Prof. Idowu Olayinka, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu scored the highest votes and got the 25 percent votes requirements.
