Nigerian singer, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Baddo has revealed that he almost quit music after a four-year hiatus.
His latest song titled Ikigai, has achieved remarkable success.
Among the tracks featured in this project, two notable songs are Hello Habibi and Metaverse.

In an interview, Olamide opened up about his new album and the inspiration behind it after taking a nearly four-year break from music.
His last album before Ikigai was Carpe Diem, which dropped in 2020.
While speaking during the interview, he revealed that he nearly walked away from music to concentrate more on songwriting.
Nevertheless, after considerable reflection and self-examination, he concluded that he could not cease creating music, as he felt that his life would lack meaning without it.
Olamide further explained the rationale behind naming his latest project Ikigai, a term derived from Japanese that signifies living a life of purpose.
