I Don’t Need Occultic Power To Win Political Battles- Seriake Dickson
Former governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, on Sunday said he doesn’t need to be an occultist nor a cultist to win any political battles that come his way.
He however declared that he does not have any power outside of God in his political career.
Dickson in a statement that was signed by his media aide, Mr. Fidelis Soriwei, quoted the former governor to have made the comment during a thanksgiving service at his country home in Toru-Orua of Sagbama Local Government Area of the State.

Dickson according to the statement said God strengthened him and indeed fought many battles he won in politics as Governor for eight years and even before then.
While speaking about the victory of the PDP candidate in 2019, Dickson, said God who he described as “the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Universe” used his own court to deliver the verdict which stopped All Progressives Congress (APC) from taking over the state.
“The unprecedented battle of my re-election in 2015 after which they decided to make the State ungovernable should come to the mind. Bayelsa had over 15 police commissioners in a few months.

“And, of course, you remember the last miracle of the 11th hour! The man himself was preparing for inauguration when God used His own court to deliver the verdict because He didn’t like what they were doing for our people.”
He described the reception given to him by the people of Ekeremor and Sagbama, Bayelsa West Senatorial District, as unprecedented saying he did not receive such unique honor even during his days as governor.
Dickson however thanked Douye Diri, his Deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the commissioners, and House of Assembly members from the district, the delegates, and all party members for affirming his nomination as the senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party at the forthcoming Bayelsa West Senatorial District.
